AUDITION: ACTORS NEEDED FOR PAID PHOTOSHOOT

Location: Austin, TX & surrounding areas
Shoot Dates: TBA | May, June, or July 2026
Rate: $50 – $200/hour; 3-hour minimum; paid in cash the day of the shoot (rate commensurate with experience)
Usage: Fine art, print photography, and derivative pieces, gallery/studio presentation, digital online portfolio, social media, and project-related promotional use.

Non-Union Project

The Odd Petting Zoo is seeking up to 15 personable, confident, and relatable actors for a fine art studio photography project. Participants will be required to evoke a full gamut of emotions via facial expressions and body language, making this an excellent project for actors/aspiring actors. We are seeking a great deal of diversity for this project, so all ages, ethnicities, and body types are encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21+
  • Must be okay with non-sexual nude or implied nude (no X-rated content)
  • Must be okay with direct eye contact
  • Must sign NDA and photo release waiver
  • Must have availability in Austin, TX, during the months of May, June, or July

Notes:

  • If your application is chosen, The Odd Petting Zoo will contact you for an in-person audition.
  • Shooting dates/times will be based on studio & actor availability. Shoots will be scheduled as much as possible during evenings and weekends but preference will be given to those with flexible schedules.
  • High-performing and reliable actors may be invited back for multiple shoots.
